My book list for school year 2016-2017 (Adult Self-Education)

Learning doesn’t stop because you have left School

I studied Science, Kinesiology and Nursing at university and I am very thankful for the knowledge I acquired during those years, but there was so much more to learn. Since we embarked on our journey on homeschooling, that sense of wonder and yearning to learn more came back in full throttle. I came across, The Well-Educated Mind: A Guide to the Classical Education You Never Had, by accident and it was very informative. Now using some of her books she listed there I created a reading list on my own.

  1. Such a good idea to do this. I definitely want to read some classics that I’ve never read before. I should come up with a list too, but I’m not a fast reader, so I don’t think I could do 1 a month like you 😉

    1. If you split it up in small chunk read, you’ll be amazed how fast you can read. I am reading “war an peace” right now and I set a goal of 10 chapters a day (chapters aren’t long like two or three pages long) and I am starting to make progress on this huge wordy book!!!
