Charlotte Mason lesson planning

Next week we will be starting our 12 weeks of school, this will bring us to Christmas break. Having a plan all written down on paper helps us to stay on track and have a record of what we are doing.

I decided that we should be combining all three grades together (ages 6 to 9) because  working from home, and dealing with out of our control situations made the planning of this school year, very challenging. I took Ambleside Online and Simply Charlotte free online curriculum as a guide and created our lesson plan for this semester.  For a complete list of the books we will be using for the year check it our here.

History books

This is a sample of what a week would look like. Our school days will start a 8 am and will stop at lunch time. The afternoon will be reserved for handicrafts, nature walk and nature studies, art appreciation (picture study), piano practice, composers etc
